Prepaid Cell Phone Cards

I made this post about prepaid cell phone cards because I found some interesting offers and discounts on the internet. But before that , someone asked me a few days ago about the safety of buying prepaid cards  online.

I can say without a doubt that ,if you know exactly what type of card you need ,then there’s absolutely no reason not to buy online. Many online stores and prepaid cell phones providers offer prepaid cards. It’s up to you to establish what type of card you need and what you don’t need.If you decide to buy online make sure that the website where you buy your prepaid cell phone card from is reliable. If you have any doubts about a site ,then don’t buy.

AT&T Prepaid Cell Phone Card

These are ,in my opinion, the best prepaid cell phone cards you can find.I recommend Wallmart if you want to buy.The first two cards are from AT&T and the third prepaid cell phone card is from T-Mobile(this is actually what I have right now,I paid 50$).The last two prepaid cards are from Verizon and TracFone.

In one of my posts I’ll review some prepaid cell phone services(starting with T-Mobile).Until then take care.

Prepaid Cell Phones - Interesting Facts

Prepaid cell phones operate by a user’s purchase of mobile services in advance of using them.So you pay before and then you can use the mobile phone to the limit of the credit you purchased. The good thing is that you’re not tied by any contract with the cell phone operator and there’s no monthly bill.

Prepaid cell phones or pay-as-you-go cell phones have many advantages. They’re ideal for people who don’t use their cell phones that much. Also parents can control their kids’ cell phone usage with these prepaid services.

There are many cell phone companies that provide prepaid cell phones. The biggest ones include : Virgin Mobile , AT&T Wireless or T-Mobile. Virgin Mobile provides 200 minutes of usage for 20$ ,400mins for 30$ and 1000 minutes -50$.

Disadvantages

Well, prepaid cell phones are not the latest models on the market.Almost all companies that provide prepaid services are offering basic phones. For example Virgin offers the Slider Sonic at only 80$ , Marbl at $14.99,Super Slice at 49.99$ or the new Wild Card messaging phone at 99.99$.

Another major disadvantage of prepaid cell phones is that there’s an expiration date.If you don’t use your minutes within a specified period, you lose them.So if you didn’t use all your minutes ,let’s say this month, you can save them by adding extra minutes(buying extra minutes) before the current ones expire.

So there you go.Prepaid cell phones are a great way to avoid getting a monthy bill, but it has it’s disadvantages.
